I used to put up with a sonic welder at work that put out higher frequencies than that one. So it's not too bad, but would give me a nice headache if I had to hear it for an extended period of time.
And YAY!! I knew people over 25 could hear it. *Giggles*

hehe I think people over the age who have not played loud music that could break glass can hear it. I hear when tv and computer crt are on and it drive me nuts
