Actually there is another fic similar to this only the time-setting and the characters are different,, and my brother was the one who made it. this one happened before my brother’s fic so both of us kinda collaborated in making this story^^,, the other one is snsd centric btw~

"Lightning Crawlers" or "Spider Lightning" can travel over 35 miles as it "crawls" across the bottoms or through squall line "frontal" clouds. This rare type of lightning is very beautiful as itzaps from "horizon-to-horizon". However it can turn deadly if it happens to strike the ground at the end of its super long path!

It was a small and rural village in the northern part of Korea called Hyeonmu, a deity’s name. The village was often shrouded in mist even in the summer morning more so in the winter. There were field of green grass stretched along the border with small forest on both west and east side. It was a growing village, struggling to become a city.
The only way to enter the village was through a bridge on the north side or the mountain road three times longer at the south.
The village had everything its people needs, schools, hospital, a local television network, its own electricity facility, and train and bus station up to a well known department store. The only thing lacking was communication. It had only a humongous red tower near the border of the village. The tower could only broadcasted a few kilometers out of Hyeonmu and only reached out to two villages.
This tower was treasured.
Under the tower was a small park where the town folks would play and relax. So was Kyuhyun, a newcomer at Hyeonmu, moved when he was sixteen from the big city. He and his friends would come to the park under the tower to play basket, soccer or to just eat bread and mock each other.
But the place they liked the most was far behind the tower. A small path was hidden under the thick bushes. It led to a small opening in the forest. There was a steep cliff where they could see a beautiful river that cut across Hyeonmu.
That day was no different. It was a cold winter day when Kyuhyun and his two friends were standing on their usual hiding spot, but instead of playing or hanging out, they were looking far above to the top of the communication tower. Something was hanging on the top, lifeless. It was moving along with the wind.
It was almost noon but the mist was still dangling in the sky, making the figure on the top of the tower blurry.
“What do you think it is, Zhoumi?” asked Kyuhyun to his taller friend.
“I don’t know… maybe some kids played kite and the kite…. What do you think, Henry?” Zhoumi tugged at his friend.
“Nah, it’s too big for a kite… I think it’s…,” a shoe fell on Henry’s head, “ow!”
Kyuhyun flinched at the shoe, “what the--? A shoe!?”
“Holy!” Zhoumi shrieked.
The mist cleared out a bit, showing the dangling figure more vividly. It had four limbs on each sides. There was a head tilted back down and the hair was brown.
“It’s human!” Zhoumi shouted.
