Well, that answers that question

Quote of $1600. I'm reporting it to insurance.

So that's why it was only my car that had it's wheels stolen...still it could be worse!

Yikes! Yeah, this is definitely insurance-worthy then. What a bummer. I hope you're able to get up and on the road quickly.

Here it is! Too pretty for it's own good. Maybe I should train my car to hit back. I'm definitely spending the $70 on wheel locks!

Oh dear God!

If it had been my car I discovered like that, I think I would have failed my san check. I mean, holy cow. I didn't even know people *did* that!

And yes, $70 sounds like a bargain.

This is what insurance is for. I have an acquaintance who's entire car was stolen but since she had opted for the absolute bare minimum insurance to save money while in grad school, she ended up not getting one cent for replacing her car.

I'd recommend ditching the car in its entirety and joining zipcar or the like. Just because every once in a while, a car is useful.

Yup. I've done just that, and between the T and zipcar, all of my transportation needs are covered.

Trust me, that's sounding highly attractive!
