Perhaps only the true animation fans and Japan-philes among you will fully appreciate this New Year's message, but I believe that everyone can easily celebrate with the well-wishes of recording artist (and one-time seiyuu for a little-known anime you may have heard of) Mari Iijima, in any language!

I saw her at AWA a couple times and liked her stuff. Heard she put on a rather interesting show at Kawaii Kon one year. If she's performing during the weekend of AX I might see her then.

Hmm, if you followed her homepage around August last year, you may get the impression that she's shying away from anime-related events for the time being. It's all unofficial, of course, but anyone hoping to catch her at a convention these days might need to think about catching one of her LA shows instead. Better not take that chance if you really want to see her (especially for the first time).
