Jai must have been pretty desperate to play the India card. Normally that was the last thing he wanted to bring up. Annie did have that effect on people.
“Just remember, you’re there do a job, not your fellow agent.”
Only a bit hypocritical she supposed, coming from a woman who’d first landed Arthur while they were on assignment together in Budapest and they’d gotten married barely a month later. Jai knew that, of course.
His father had been Arthur’s best man.
