Thanks! That whole "Maybe you'd have been jealous," was bollocks, no matter how you interpret it. (Jealous of Jack having Ianto or vice versa.) Angelo had a deeper relationship with Jack than Ianto could wish for. BUT, Jack was still Jack.

*snort* Wrong. So wrong. Angelo knew Jack for a matter of months and their connection was nowhere near as deep. He and Ianto had years together and Jack remains horribly broken without him. You'll probably delete this comment, of course, but your interpretations of the characters are just.. so off-base. You might not like Ianto, but Jack loved him deeply and that can't be changed in canon. Sorry.

If telling yourself that makes you feel better, go for it. It won't change the fact that canon is what happened on screen. We know what Jack looks like in love. We saw it in CJH. We saw it with Estelle. We saw it with Angelo. We saw it with the Doctor and we'll see the look on his face when he sees the new Doctor and it will tell us everything we need to know about who Jack really loves.
