Took me a while to get the Baroque, but I finally did. Unfortunately all I know about Bach is what I learned by obsessive study of Hofstadter's book in my early twenties, so I might be missing further jokes. Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas to Hubby if he remains culturally Christian.

Our celebrations are/were fairly poly-glot, but all greetings and good wishes are welcome. Hubby is also a big fan of Gödel, Escher, Bach. We were watching a "Swinging Bach" concert DVD (filmed in Leipzig) and he suggested that Bach should meet the Doctor and voila!

I was looking for a "hook" where Bach could meet the Doctor and I found out he had spent some time in prison. (God bless Wiki!)
