“Wear the sky blue shirt. It almost makes you look nice,” she’d babbled like a deranged stage mother, although she knew “The House and Cameron Show” was destined to close out of town.
Cameron loved him and that was the one thing he couldn’t tolerate. At some point, she would look into those eyes and see the truth. Smart money said it would happen before the appetizers came.
Lisa had been down that road. She knew how much Cameron would need a shoulder to cry on and Lisa would be waiting for her.
