*MASTERPOST*

When Sho had seen a man he didn’t recognize at first sight coming into the house, he had decided to take a look. Just to check if it was someone he knew, which absolutely wasn't the case. But he had never expected this to happen. When he had seen the batteries falling on the ground he felt like there was no doubt about it, this man wasn’t from the rich district. The nerve of that man pissed him off, even more when he heard the sad story about a little girl that was obviously made up for him to make him feel sorry and let the other man go. At first he wanted to leave it to the guards to get this man, but when he heard a vase breaking when he was standing with his back to that man to call the guards and he saw the taller man was trying to escape through the window, his blood started to boil. He didn’t know for how long they were fighting, but he did know that this man was stronger than he looked. But not being weak himself, he finally managed to pin the intruder down on the floor. The desperation of the other somehow gave him the strength of struggle free, but Sakurai lost his balance and before he knew it he was on top of the taller man again. His lips fell on the intruder’s lips and they both froze. In the wide open eyes underneath him he saw his own shocked reflection and as much as he wanted to move, to get out of this embarrassing position, his body refused to listen. He felt his heart skip a beat as he desperately tried to get a grip on the situation. A sudden voice made him finally snap out of his state.

“Sakurai-sama what are you doing with that mendicant?!” Sakurai recognized the voice of one of the guards. Quickly he jumped on his feet.

“Fuck” before he knew it he cursed out loud, immediately regretting doing so. He could see in the guard’s eyes the man tried to understand the situation and Sho could see he was getting the wrong impression. He tried to think how he would react if he would see someone lying on the floor on top of someone else, lips locked. He knew how he would react and he saw the guard had the same reaction as he would have.

This is not good, he thought, trying to find something, anything to say to make sure this all was a misunderstanding. Behind him the intruder had also managed to get back up and Sho could feel the taller mans eyes on his back. In front of him he saw the guard reaching for his weapon with one hand, while the other was busy typing something on his phone.

“Wait! It’s not what you think” Sho desperately tried. Behind him he could hear some shuffling and he quickly turned around, trying to grab the other man’s wrist to stop him but accidentally grabbing his hand instead. Shocked all three looked and the hands that were tangled together. After that, everything seemed to happen in a flash. Sakurai could see that the guard now completely pulled out his weapon while he yelled something in his phone. Sho couldn’t really hear what the man was saying as he suddenly realized he was in real trouble. At the moment it wouldn’t even matter if he was the president’s son or not. Being together with someone from the poor district was a crime and no matter who it was, a punishment would surly follow. He felt the hand he was still holding tightening and before he knew it, he was dragged in the direction of the stairs. His mind went blank as his body took over and started to run. Behind them he could hear screams and the running footsteps of the guard, soon followed by more pair of feet.

He didn't know how the man that pulled him with him managed to get out of the quite heavy guarded palace, but before he knew they were running outside to the fence. Luckily it wasn't that high, since normally no one would even consider breaking into the palace, so even Sho could jump over it without real problems. When they jumped over, the intruder finally let go of his hand and when Sho was on the other side of the fence he suddenly stopped. For a moment he considered going back, he was the president’s son after all; they couldn't possibly shoot him right? The other man seemed to notice his doubt and for a moment Sho could see the argue he had inside. Suddenly he heard a pistol firing and he remembered the policy of the guards; shoot first, ask later. He froze for the third time that day, unsure of what he had to do. When there was another shot, much closer this time the other man made his move and grabbed Sakurai's wrist to pull him with him again. Sho didn't complain when they started to run again through the narrow streets. He had no idea where they were going, but for the moment it didn't really matter to him, as long as he could get away from the guards until they cooled down again.

As fast as they could they got out of the rich district and ran into the forest. Both men were breathing heavily when taller man finally slowed down. A bit bewildered he looked around, as he was searching for something, but Sho was too busy trying to catch his breath to ask. After a few more meters the slightly taller man totally stopped and let Sho’s hand go. With his hands on his knees Sho breathed roughly in and out, trying to regulate his breath. Years of studying and barely working out, or even coming outside, hadn’t been very good for his condition and right now he felt like an old man even more when he saw the other man looking was not even that tired even though they had ran for at least ten minutes. When he looked up he saw the other man kneeling in front of a tree at the opposite of where he was standing. Sakurai couldn’t see what he was doing as he could only see the back of the other man.

“What…what are you doing?” he breathed out. Because of his still irregular breath he didn’t sound as annoyed and angry as he wanted to be, but for the moment he decided that didn’t really matter. He stood up straight and looked around, trying to recognize his surroundings. The other man turned around and looked at him. Sho couldn’t really place the emotion in his eyes, something between fear and anger. But in the dim light he couldn’t really trust his eyes and before he could really identify it, every emotion had disappeared from the dark brown eyes.

“I don’t see a reason why I would have to tell you that” the voice of the other man was cold, but Sho could still hear a soft, gentle tone in it which the other man was trying to hide. Before Sho could really react, he felt himself being dragged by his wrist again, heading for an unknown destination. This time they were just walking in a quick pace instead of running, much to Sho’s pleasure. He doubted if he would survive another round of running like madmen, seeing the effort he had to make to calm down a little just a moment ago. After a few silent minutes Sakurai seemed to finally realize how odd this situation was. A sudden anger took over as he pulled his arm free and stopped walking.

“Wait a minute. What are you think you are doing?!” he crossed his arms in front of his chest. He wanted some kind of explanation and he wanted it now. The taller man turned around and looked at him. For the first time that evening Sakurai really looked at him. Even though it was getting real dark in the forest and he couldn’t see everything that well, he guessed the man had to be around his age. He had already noticed that he was slightly taller, but he stood up even straighter to look as tall as the man in front of him, knowing this was a stupid and irrelevant thing to do, but he wasn’t really used to being smaller than someone (he would blame it on his pride). But what got to him the most, were the big brown eyes which seemed to speak for themselves, even if the other man tried to hide it as good as he could.

“I think I just saved your life, so you could be a bit more grateful for that” the other man’s rash voice pushed Sho back into reality. Somehow these words seemed to piss of the president’s son even more.

“I don’t remember me asking to be saved. If you wouldn’t be there stealing from my house this wouldn’t have had happened at all.” for a moment it seemed like the taller man would say something back but in the end he just pulled up his shoulders and turned around. Sho didn’t even try to hide his smile, thinking he had cornered the other man, but when he saw him walking away his smile disappeared. He thought about going the other way but when he looked around he realized he had no idea where he was. Cursing inside his head he quickly followed the other man.

“Wait! Where are you going? Bring me back, right now!” he sped up a little so he could walk at the side of the taller man.

“I’m trying to find a place to sleep. I think you have noticed it is getting really dark right now, even though you normally wouldn’t have to experience that.” Sho could hear in the other mans tone the man was angry about something which he didn’t fully understand.

“What do you mean by that?” just the angry tone the other man had spoken to him had made Sakurai annoyed again. What did I do to make him angry, he thought. He is the one that suddenly came to my house, stealing batteries, dragging me into this. I didn’t ask for it, and now he’s angry at me? For what?

“Nothing. If you want to go back that bad, just go. I won’t stop you. But watch out for the wolves.” At the last word Sho froze. He had never heard about wolves in this forest before, but as much as he doubted the man’s words, he didn’t really want to find out by himself if he was speaking the truth or not. Besides, he really didn’t know which way they came from and he could only see a few meters in the darkness that surrounded him. As much as he hated it, he decided to stay by that man’s side, at least for the night. After that he could always try to find his way home again. Quickly he sped up again, walking behind the taller man who had never stopped walking. Lost in thought he followed him, still trying to figure out why the other suddenly had sounded so angry. While he followed the other man he seemed to calm down a little. Somehow the aura of him made him calm down a little.

“Aren’t you going back?” the man asked him after a while without looking at him. Sho sighed.

“I can wait until tomorrow morning. Then you can take me back, mister…uhm I didn’t catch your name?” Sakurai doubted the man had ever told his name, but he could at least try to get some kind of name this way. It could be useful later and as it seemed they would be stuck together for the night, he thought it would be better if he could call the man by his name, just in case. It seemed to work as the taller man turned around to look at him.
