Sighing deeply Jun wrapped his coat even tighter around him. Even thought the days were bearable at this time of the year, the nights were still cold and having no place left to go to and warm up in the night, he was forced to stay on the streets all day and night. Without any money he couldn't get far and even though he could get some food out of the stores here and there he still hadn't managed to find a good place to sleep.

"Stupid Kazu..." He mumbled mockingly but he knew it wasn't the older man's fault. It was his own fault for letting his stupid pride stand in the way and to refuse to tell him the truth about everything. It was almost a week ago (or at least he thought it was, he had lost track of time) since he was kicked out of his ex-lover’s apartment and he hadn't moved a single step forward. He simply didn't know where to start or where to go from here on. The true identity of the Dark Priest was now clear to him and with that the one who helped Ohno out of jail but he had not one single clue where they might be. He had tried Ohno's old apartment, the pier where their last meeting with Ohno had been and the spot under the bridge where they had caught Aiba but there was nothing of use in these places. He had thought about going to Sakurai and ask for information or even help but the risk was too high. If the Border Watch officer was being watched he would most certainly get caught and that was the last thing he wanted.

Sighing again he stretched his tired and sore muscles and stood up. Maybe there was a way to move forward but that was pretty dangerous to do. On the other hand, what did he have to lose? At this point he would lose his live if he got caught by the Watches and it would be only a matter of time before they found him. If he wouldn't do anything he wouldn't get his name clear and he would be forced to live on the streets for as long as he would survive. If he would go with his final option he had only two chances; succeed and clear his name or fail and probably lose his life. Suddenly determinate he nodded his head. Tomorrow he would go to one of Yuuichiro's favorite meeting spots with members of the gang of the Dark Priest and try to get some information there. Unconsciously he touched his neck just underneath his ear as he moved towards a better and more sheltered sleeping place.

He felt a bit nervous as he watched the small cafe from a distance. Yuuichiro had went here a lot whenever he didn't have anything to do and Jun had seen several people with chain tattoos walking in and out of this place. He figured this must be some kind of meeting place and it would be perfect to get some information, even if it meant going into the lion's den. One wrong move and he would be surrounded by the wrong people in the wrong place and he didn't want to think of the possible scenarios after that. Taking a deep breath he walked across the street and opened the door of the cafe. To his relief there weren't many people inside at the moment, it was still early in the morning after all. Not sure of who to talk to, he sat down at the bar for the time being, waiting for a chance. He didn't have to wait long as he noticed the man behind the bar, possibly the owner of the cafe, had a five chained tattoo underneath his left ear. He decided to go for a straight approach right away.

"I need to speak to Haishin, do you know where he is? Someone told me he might be here." The man behind the bar looked up in surprise and leaned closer.

"I don't think I saw you before. Who are you and what are you doing here? How do you know that name?"

"I don't believe that is an answer to my question. I heard from the Dark Priest himself that he would be here today to give me an important message so where is he?" The man looked around suspiciously before leaning even closer.

"Don't you ever say that name out loud in here again! It is not something you can just joke about, I don't want to get caught. Most certainly not because of a stranger who I don't trust at all." Jun smirked and moved his head a little, brushing his hair away a bit by his ear.

"See this? How about trusting me now?" The man cursed under his breath.

"Three?! I'm sorry, I didn't know." Jun smiled. This was going to be an easy one, though he still had to be careful.

"I would say give me a drink and let's forget it." The man smiled weakly and poured him a beer which Jun gladly accepted. It might be still too early for beer but being on the streets without any of it for a week had him longing for a single glass so he couldn't care less. Emptying half of it in one go he got back to the subject.

"So back to Haishin. Where is he? Coming in soon that you know of?" The man slowly shook his head.

"You haven't heard? He is dead, killed by some loan shark almost a month ago. Nobody noticed until he missed his meeting with the Dark Priest himself and believe me, he wasn't pleased with that. If he wasn't dead already he would be right now. I'm surprised you haven't heard." The man eyed him suspiciously again and Jun sighed, faking to be bothered by the news.

"Damn, he was supposed to give me some very important information... I have been away for a while for business, just returned two days ago. I haven't been able to catch up with everything yet, major jetlag yesterday which gave me some trouble." The other man looked like he was drawing his own conclusions from it and Jun hoped it wouldn't give him any trouble. When the man leaned even closer he tried his hardest not to panic.

"Are you the one who followed that bitch around then?"

"Excuse me?"

"Nila. The Treaty? I heard the one who was following her around arrived in Tokyo together with her a couple of days ago." The Treaty was in Tokyo?! What the hell were the Watches thinking?! Bringing her to Tokyo while someone just helped Ohno escape, this was probably the most dangerous place for her to be! On the other hand, the Watches must have been thinking she would be safe her because no one would expect her to be here. Apparently they were wrong.

"Oi, I asked you something."

"That is none of your business. I remember things like that are highly confidential right? So what are you doing, throwing those words around just like that? I should take you to the Dark Priest himself and ask what he thinks about this kind of words..." The man in front of him became extremely pale and started to stutter.

"No, please don't do that. I don't want trouble."

"Relax I was just joking. But now more serious, I want to know what you know. I promise I won't tell anyone else anything about your words and it would spare me a lot of time with catching up with everything again." The man looked at him a bit doubtful but eventually nodded and leaned closer.

"You know that girl who is the Treaty now right? I heard the Dark Priest has a personal grudge against her and wants her killed. I'm not sure if that's the full reason though..." The man fell silent, lost in his thoughts. Jun felt like he had to give the man a little push to get to know more.

"So he helped Ohno out of jail right? The Unawares' Angel." The eyes of the man got a strange glimmer when he heard that name.

"Yes! The Dark Priest and the Unawares' Angel teaming up against the evil of the Treaty what those idiots believe holds the balance of Nature! Isn't that great! I really hope they will succeed this time. If everything goes according to plan it should finally be over by tomorrow night." Jackpot.

"Really? And why is that?" The man looked a bit confused at him.

"Because they will destroy the Treaty then? You don't even know that?"

"Of course I know! I just wanted to check if that's a common knowledge."

"Right... Anyway, I heard from someone about an hour ago that the mission to kidnap Nila was set in action last night, so she should probably be in our hands by now. Man I wish I could be in that action and see how they will destroy that bitch tomorrow but all I can do is sit back and wait." Jun's mind worked full speed now. He tried his hardest to stay calm, not wanting to think what could happen if those plans were indeed successful. The Border Watch should have learned from last time with that Japanese girl who was kidnapped by Ohno right? There would be massive protection around the Treaty by now, especially since Ohno escaped.

"Hey are you alright mate? You look a bit pale."

"I'm fine. I was just wondering why you can't be part of the execution. Wouldn't it be great to see it?" The man smiled bitterly.

"I know right? But it is no use, they don't want to be interrupted again, since last time ended so badly. They think that a lot of people going to the same empty warehouse at the same time would get too much attention. And we don't want any of those annoying officers to stick their nose in again and destroy our plans. Seriously if I would ever get my hands on one he would wish he wouldn't be born!" Jun couldn't stop the laugh that boiled up from inside. If the man only knew who really was sitting in front of him now. Luckily his laugh was interpreted as if he was strongly agreeing with the man as he joined him with his own. Heaving after hearing enough, Jun looked at his watch and pretended to be surprised by the time.

"I'm sorry, I have to go now. Time flies when you are having a good time. It was nice talking to you. I hope we will meet again sometime." The man agreed with him as he shook his hand. After making a fake promise to come back to this place soon, Jun left the small cafe with a troubled look on his face. He didn't have much time to find out if the Treaty has indeed kidnapped and to which warehouse she was taken but he didn't have any other option. Asking Ninomiya for help crossed his mind but the older man wouldn't agree and possibly kick him out again right away and on top of that he couldn't use the distraction the other man would be. If only he didn't have such a bad feeling about the situation, he would have loved to see the man for one last time.

He sighed as he watched the big building in front of him. It was supposed to be empty but if you looked carefully you could see the flickering light of a candle. After a few empty warehouses he had finally found this place and he was sure this was the right one. It was dangerous to go in there, without a gun or any back up, but he felt like he didn't have a choice. This was his only chance to get a clean sleeve again and probably the only chance to get the Treaty out safe right now. He still couldn't believe they had actually managed to kidnap Nila in the first place but that was of later concern. His biggest problem right now was finding a way to get her out of here, alive that is of course.

He starred at the screen of his cell phone, his thumb lingering above the button that would send the message written on the screen. Somehow it felt like it wasn't fair what he was going to do now, if he would send it but there was no way back from here. The chance that he would never see the daylight again was very high and he didn't want to leave before at least trying to settle some things. Though he would never know if it would really help. At this point he just hoped to gain enough time to get the Treaty safe out of the building. That was the most important right now, he didn't really care about what would happen after that. Taking one deep breath he pushed the button and stood up, walking inside the building with a lifted head, ready to face whatever he would find in there.
