Kon climbed the large tree
in the garden, feeling the bark bite (ha ha) into his toes and hands as he maneuvered his way up. The teen had taken his shoes off when he realized they wouldn't be able to get a firm grip on the fraying trunk. Even now the bark was coming off in flakes as his fingers and toes struggled to haul his body weight up to the first branch.
Wrapping his arms around the thick branch in a bear hug, Kon rested his cheek against its bark, breathing in the smell of moss and wood. He wasn't even sure what type of tree this was, but it offered a prime seat of the grounds, at the cheap price of a ten foot climb! Pushing himself upright with his left arm snuggly wrapped around the tree, and his right resting on the branch, Kon grinned. When he woke up this morning, his only plan for the day was spending it outside in the summer sun, soaking in the fresh air. It helped calm the restlessness he'd been feeling.
Surveying the lay of the land, the orange haired teen could spot people moving about inside. Heck, he could even see into the third story windows from here! Sort of. Oooh, wasn't this side of the building dedicated to the women's wing? Oh God, he hoped so. Maybe he could spot a late riser getting ready for her day. Kon wasn't asking for much, just a hint of skin here or there. A silhouette undressing. Nothing too scandalizing.
