Is it possible to get some confirmation on this from a reliable source? Otherwise I would take it with a grain of salt.

seeing as how the drummer posted this I don't think there needs to much more of a confirmation? unless there was some sort of HAXORAGE that took place, that is.

I think I had good reason to doubt this information--after all, the poster is someone with no entries or any lj friends besides the karate-the-band fan group. When this was posted, and for a few hours following, there was no confirmation on any of the band member's web sites. I checked earlier this afternoon and didn't find anything, but now I see that Gavin has posted a statement about the breakup on his web site. Anyone can get on lj and say they're Gavin and that Karate is breaking up, but not just anyone can get on his web site and say that unless they really are some kind of haxor. I guess that's what you're referring to, but I wasn't aware of it until I rechecked his page a few minutes ago.

Well if this is true, than... Thank you for such great music, you are the definition of a great band. Even though i never got a chance to see you live, i could only imagine.

you'r music has made such an impact on me.Its really added to those late drives by the coast.
