After one frustration after a-freaking-nother, my place of employment crossed the line. At 11:30 PM, they let me know I had to give away my shift the following day (1:30PM-6ish, no break) in exchange for a double (11:30AM-9ish, with a break). wtf is up w/ our bullshit jobs thinking that they're the end-all-be-all of employment?!?! ugh...

I was once part of shoot-crew in Florida, and we rented an Extended Stay; it worked out beautifully. We only had to be on location for 2 months.

--How far North are you willing to go--because Round Rock and Cedar Park are experiencing serious boom [so most complexes aren't offering short term anything...] but Georgetown or anything in South Austin, should have apartment complexes with short-term lease options. If you google 'georgetown texas short term lease', I bet you could come up with some great one-bedroom apartments at any given complex. ^_^ Good luck.
