Its supposed to hit 60 here on Friday. I seriously cant stand it.
My sinuses always freak out around weather changes, and these crazy weather changes + extremely dry sinuses due to being pregnant + not being able to actually take anything for my sinuses because of said pregnancy = one very very sad kara.
Haha, I just commented saying how I was jealous for the first time since I moved. 4-6 inches isnt really that much, but around here they act like the world is going to end and everyone forgets how to act like a human. Heck, they get like that over 1 inch!
On Friday I had to drive through DC to get to a client site and I spent so much time sitting in traffic due to random construction projects, it was really like being back in Pittsburgh!
Don't even get me started on construction in Pittsburgh. Okay I take that back. I would just like to say I drive from the North Hills to Robinson for work everyday. Not only is the Parkway West a serious mess, but 28 is now down to 1 lane. Seriously, who thinks shit like that is a good idea?
28 is never a good idea! What I dont understand is why the feel the need to do 09808098 projects at a time. Why not do one project, work on it 24 HOURS A DAY until it is done, and then move on to the next?! Nope, instead weve got to make sure that we close down or mess up every single major roadway all at once!
I remember back when they were repaving the parkway and they had it all closed down on the weekends, and running only one way on the weekdays. At this same time they decided to close down Campbells Run Road. There was literally 2 ways out of Carnegie, through Crafton and 79.
I am so happy to be out of Oakland now that I hear they are widening a few of the streets there. That is going to be SUCH a mess.
Because its cold and wet and makes getting to work damn near impossible. Theres probably about 3 inches out there right now which means my normally 45 minute commute is going to take at least 2 hours, if not 3.
