XP home and XP pro are EXACTLY the same kernel OS EXACTLY the same
XP pro ships with some power tools youll never use
most of thsese are for business deployment and dynamic disk managemrnt for servers .. not usefull to the home user
Pro also ships with remote desktop acess .. which is a MASSIVE security liability that has to be secured yourself to prevent remote access to your pc For this reason i recomend XP Home
The Download XP-LITE to make it a proper OS .. XP-LITE can bring windows XP back upto the speed of windows 2000 .. and is well with the registration fee
