I am now convinced that I am completely out of step with the rest of America when it comes to home decor. I am trying to buy a new comforter for our bed, because the one we have now is a) old and b) too small and c) ugly. I have had no success. All I want is a solid comforter in a clear shade of purple or yellow (or I'd even take orange at this ( Read more... )

Try The Company Store -- they don't seem to have anything in purple, but they have this goose down comforter in orange or this reversible quilt in orange/yellow.

Oddly, I have been looking for a purple comforter, too (sort of in fits and starts) and I have had no luck, either. I also just figured purple must be out of fashion at the moment.

(I had looked at Company Store but not at Garnet Hill. I will have to check. Company Store did have orange geometric-patterned sheets that I almost bought, though.)
