1. The label on the front of the little packet of mayonnaise that came with my lunch has "0 g" in a big font and "carbs" in a smaller font underneath. Are there people out there who worry about carbs in mayonnaise? Or is Hellmann's hoping people won't notice the "carbs" part and assume that it's 0g fat

Yeah, I believe manufacturers think we are all just idiots with regard to nutritional information. Just a little sleight-of-hand will fool us, such as the peanut oil bottles that say "0 carbs". What dodos.

I hate text speak. Hate it! R is not a word. U is not a word. L8r is not a word. All of these appear regularly in the college english essays I assign. Darn kids - they make me feel old with the text speak. Then I decide I would rather feel old than decimate the english language like that.
