30 pics behind the cut! And they are large, high-quality pics because my friend took most of these pics with her SLR. I'm not even kidding, they're huge and I didn't resize them much because the detail of their faces is just GORGEOUS, guys. All I wanted to do was rest a little today, so here goes :3

My friend thought it was hilarious. She also likes taking pictures, so it was fun for her... so she said, anyway. XD

And you're going to love the figurines. Just remember to check to see what hands Ichigo came with, and also to be careful with Rukia's ankles... the foot-swivel part is sturdy, but not her ankle joint. ;_;

I am pretty sure that second-to-last shot of Rukia stomping on Kon as Ichigo looks on is now my favorite. XDDD

LOL, I was laughing when I saw the scene where they were watching Fade to Black on the laptop. That was so cute! ♥

Where did you order them? Is Kon sold separately?

Oh, the characters come with little extras! Rukia's extra is Kon :) she also comes with Sode no Shirayuki in unreleased form, along with the sheath that fits in her belt.

Ichigo?

Ichigo comes with an alternate head. >_>; it's him in the Vizard mask and it is a hell of a lot creepier as a decapitated head than it is when it's on his shoulders. There are no photos of it because my friend took one look at it and said NO. XD

Ohh I forgot to say. I ordered them from here, and so did qwirky. Hers will arrive Monday, mine did yesterday. Here's their page for Rukia.

It arrived quickly. My Ichigo's box was dented a bit, but he himself was fine. The real problem is that me and some other person on the internet ended up with the wrong interchangeable right hand for Ichigo's wrist, which means he can't actually hold his sword. It's really taped in the pictures above >>;; that's why there are so few action shots, the freaking sword would not stick. That, though, is a manufacturing error and I already complained to Square about it.

I followed you here from the FC XD; But ahh these are great, I heartily approve of all the shippy poses; and that picture of them watching FtB is so much win ♥ I love that you used the calendar as backdrop, and holy crap that thing looks huge O: Where the heck am I gonna keep mine when it arrives *frets*

So want to buy these now, but I probably won't be able to afford them ;A; Aww, it looks so much fun, too.

Hi hi! I posted this entry link in the FC, so I don't mind people coming here *_* and I think people like the FTB one best so far. :3

Aaaaand the calendar is gigantic. I have yet to find a good place for it and have in the meantime completely dismantled the honeymoon spread >>; still, it did oddly enough work well as a backdrop - my friend's idea since she didn't much like the white.

Have you seen the Ichigo figurine of him at Sokyoku? That sucker is priced at $300 >_>; NOT BUYING.

And yeah I saw the pics of the Sougyoku figurine with Athena posted them in the FC - it's so glorious and beautifully made. But damn, $300 O.O; Whyyyy SQ Enix, I only want to love you ;__;

Oh, the honeymoon spread is fine. It's just that the binding isn't great, so the pages at the end slip easily off - after that happened for the third time, I just took them off. I think it'll be easier to put them up this way :)

and yeah, I think that's the expected price, more or less in line with their other special figures. It's so tragic, but... at least for me it's Ichigo. If it had been Rukia at the Sokyoku, I would have had to buy it and then live on instant noodles for a year. ._.

I'm really, really impressed by the detail in the Rukia figurines face. Square Enix is a beacon of awesome just for that.

Ehh 100% approval of the shippy pics (and that gorgeous backdrop). I almost feel like we are intruding :p

Rukia's face is freaking.gorgeous. I could stare at it all day, it is that well made. Her eyes are brilliantly painted and it's just hypnotic. Ichigo's got a decent face himself, but they outdid themselves with Rukia. I have all these close-ups of her face >>;

and hee, it's just fun throwing the calendar in. Thank goodness it's so huge. :3

Btw *twiddles thumbs* would it be a problem if I made icons out some of these figurine faces and poses?
