Hello, all! Emerging from my writer's cave and the swamp of college-senior homework. After poking around Teh Internets, I have realized the scanty and shameful nature of the FAQ sections on karenkincy.com. I have one for readers, and one for writers. It's nice to come out of the writing cave once in a while. I've emerged from my writing cave now too. The air is much fresher out here. ;-)

So, how long did it take you to write Other (first draft)?
How many revisions did Other go through?
How many novels did you write before Other?

Yeah, inquiring minds want to know. =D

Oh, gosh, those are hard questions. Mostly because I have so many drafts of OTHER sitting on my hard drive. I think I finished it in between 6 months to a year? If you want to call that the first draft, because I kept tinkering with it as I wrote.

As for revisions.... LOTS. But with my editor, I'd say there were two substantial revisions.

Before OTHER, I had finished two novels. I wrote about half of a third one, so I consider OTHER my fourth novel, really. Maybe I'll dust some of them off one day... if my current WIPs don't drag me away from them, that is. ;)
