I swear that's the same cover image from the Aussie edition of John Ajvide Lindqvist's Handling the Undead. Also about zombies ;-)

Actually, Lindqvist's book is the other half of the same image. In one of those weird blips in the publishing biz, the art directors of his publisher (Thomas Dunne Books) and mine (Simon & Schuster) leased the same piece of stock photography at the same time. We've all had a good chuckle about it, and may even do some signings together. Weird old world.
