Stuck in the Middle

I am stuck in the middle of my mom and aunt. We love my aunt, but she drives us nuts. I am usually ok around her, but my mom gets snippy. My aunt wants to come to my mom's chemo appointment on Wednesday and my mom doesn't want her to. My mom wants me to call her up and "deal with it." I can understand my mom's side and she is the one who is sick. I

Oh, ugh. Your poor aunt. Maybe you could just gently suggest to her that her hysterics aren't going to be good for your mom, and that she should wait for a later chemo appointment before trying to go to give herself time to get herself together. I don't know if that would hurt her feelings or not. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. I know it must be difficult.
