My very first visit to the hospital after Mum died in ICU was to visit The Beloved who was also in ICU, fortunately not in the same bed so I understand how difficult it can be.

How wonderful that you have been to see Julie and Amelia and that she has made you smile. Babies have that effect, I think

What a sweet post! Amelia sounds so precious. I'm sorry Julie is having a hard time. I hemorrhaged after my last one (think my body was trying to tell me something?) and was close to needing a transfusion but didn't get one. I will think good thoughts for her.

I'm glad you got to have a happy experience at the hopsital too.
