I keep having these weird, lucid dreams. In each dream starts out with me in bed, aware of the fact that I am dreaming. There is a general feeling of darkness all around me. According to the dream analysis site I use:
"To see or hear a telephone in your dream, signifies a message from your unconscious or some sort of telepathic communication. You may be forced to confront issues which you have tried to avoid. Alternatively, the telephone represents your communication and relationship with others.

To dream that you do not want to answer the ringing telephone, indicates lack of communication. There is a situation or relationship that you are tying to keep at a distance.

My mother's friend Shirley is dead. I guess she died on Thursday, but my mother didn't tell me b/c I was leaving for a mini vacation on Friday morning. This friend also had cancer, was also very old. I found out tonight from my sister, she didn't realize no one had told me.

I should send you this book I just read called "getting a grip on dreams". It has a lot dream theory and some interpretations. I think you might find it pretty interesting.

I thought you already knew, too. My sister the Death Hag called me right away. Sad, but Shirley's been so sick for so long.

That sucks that your mom's friend died and that no one told you, but it seems as though you subconsciously already knew - that's weird.

Yeah, your book sounds interesting! I have a very tiny dream book, but every time I go to look up a dream symbol it isn't in the darn book...so I use the dreammoods website (the dream dictionary part) - that site rawks!
