Missing Mom

Dear Journal and Friends--I guess it's been a long, long time since I updated--even longer than usual! I had some reasons though, and most not very happy ones. The worst is that my mom passed away, after a lengthy decline, on the 4th of July. It's hard to go through this grieving process, even though she lived a long and wonderful life. I'll be

Dear Sophia--many medium-sized cities have "young professionals" groups--often they hold activities for their members and it is a great way to make friends. Have you checked to see if there is one in the Mobile area? (You probably have.) Also, BookCrossing groups are great for meeting people who will have similar interests. I know that both Jacksonville,FL and Syracuse, NY, have one--I've seen the announcements of the activities. (Remember that if you want to check out either of these areas, you are welcome to stay with us!)

Don't let the MDs "intimidate" you--LOL--they are human like the rest of us--and what you discover for them may help save a life (I am sure it does, actually), so be proud of that! Hugs! KarenOpal
