I just got home form A's parent-teacher conference. He is at the top of the level where he is supposed to be in reading (reading at an almost first grade level already), The top of the level where he is supposed to be in math (already doing first grade work), and has skipped a level and is currently one level higher than his peers in writing ( ( Read more... )

Alex's achievements are in direct correlation to your abilities as a mom. Be proud of him AND yourself. I am. This is good news indeed. I feel the good vibes all the way on the next block! On the other hand, your oral fixations are just disgusting. Big EW! LOL.

From meeting him and all the stories you've told on here about A, it's obvious how incredibly intelligent he is- he has good genes! Congrats on raising a most wonderful son :)

PS. Jelly beans are better that chips when rescued from seat cracks
