If there was one thing that Sherlock Holmes hated, it would be the future Mrs. Mary Watson. It wasn’t exactly the fact that she was a terrible person, it was just that she was taking away her soon to be husband John H. Watson away from him. Not intentionally, he had amended, but it was soon fairly obviously she didn’t like him when they had dinner
