Aw, this was adorable! I actually quoted a line of it to my girlfriend and she asked for the link.

Really, this made me smile and I adore attempt number four. It's my favorite by far, but I have to admit a fondness for five, simply because I'm reading the books right now.

Well done!

My name is getting out there? :D
I'm really glad that you enjoyed it, it made you smile, and you recommended it to someone else. AND THE BOOKS!! I'm a dork and LOVE the original material, so I had to get my geek out in the open with the fifth attempt.

Oh and I love your icon, I'm a bit of a Dr. Who nerd as well.

That was very sweet, I really enjoyed it! ♥ Lovely end, I love and LOLd at Sherlock's last comment.

One word of advice; you may want to think about getting a British beta. It's quite distracting when things that don't apply to our country get thrown into the mix, ie. science fair; would be called a science competition or class project, something like that, and they are not an annual occurrence in the UK. Also; slacks=trousers. And children would never be "treasurers", teachers do that sort of thing here, even in secondary school. It's surprising how just a few cultural references like that are differences sometimes isn't it? I have the same problem with American fandoms sometimes, though it's easier because there's a broad variety of US tv shows I can look to for reference :)

Sorry, I slip into my American-ism because I've been born and raised here. I've only been to England once and, unfortunately, it wasn't long enough to get all the differences separated in my mind. Thanks for saying that, though. I will try to find a British beta, but it's getting hard to find a beta, period.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it, though.
