Word wealth

This was sparked by a recent conversation about words between laura_w, marcus_k and me when travelling home from the Conference in Wales. So often I sing hymns with phrases such as 'ineffably sublime' and am not sure exactly what it means.

The definitions were found by laura_w.

Prosaic:

Perhaps not the most useful selection. I can't imagine using ieffable in day to day converstion :)
