I'm here now until March 31st, & have found a lovely apartment in Prenzlauer Berg, just 1 minute away from Prenzlauer Alee/Dunckerstr. Hopefully I can move in very soon, so that I may get a bank account & a new phone that won't cost me a fortune whenever someone calls me

I don't think so, no. I think it's just generally about how people become desensitized & apathetic whilst living in a big sprawling metropolis, & allow unjust things happen around them.

The DJ Jeff Mills released an album inspired by (& called) Metropolis a few years back... maybe '99/2000. That may be worth checking out. ;)

I'm not sure yet... I'd like to, but I'm trying to aviod a guy there at the moment. He's really, really sweet, but very, very possessive too, & I only met him last week, so I find that very worrying...! I think maybe he hopes we could be more than friends too, & I don't want that at all!! :/

Before I will go to K17, I wanna check a band in kreuzberg, one of the charming Norwegian gave me this tip. So maybe we could met us there first and later we join the K17 as a group, so you have a avocation. :)

How was it at K17 on Friday? And how was the band in Kreuzberg? ;) Wish I'd have checked my mail on Thursday or Friday, then I'd maybe know for myself! :s
