I've never been a Star Wars fan so i was hesitant to watch this clip. But i like Benedict so i thought i'd give it a try. Wow.. .. that voice! So cool, so smooth, so commanding, and above all sooo sexy!! *g*

I am sorry. I saw all the birthday greetings directed to me, yours above all others, but it coincided with me being fired from my job (They told me April 2nd, and I still had to keep working there until April 13th), which meant that first I didn't have enough time, but after that period I had time at my hands, but became very inactive due to depression.

That's no excuse, but my social skills vanish completely sometimes, when I have such a bout of inactivity.

And after several weeks had passed, I thought it would be too embarrassing to now re-visit my birthday posts and reply to them.

I am sorry. I know how I feel when I put many efforts into a birthday post and it is left unanswered, not recognised.

Sometimes I have all the social skills of a "high functioning sociopath" . . .

Benedict in Star Trek. In the clip above, both Benedict and Chris give a very good example of outstanding acting.

Can't wait to watch the movie - in the original language ! - in the movie theatre.

I am sure there will be quite a few who only go see it for Benedict's sake! ;) For me it's the same as for you - I liked the original Star Trek (though I drifted off somewhere during DS9) and enjoyed the 2009 reboot, so would have gone to see STID in any case. But with Benedict in it, and speaking like that... *swoon* I'm sure he'll gain hordes of new fans again after it's been released!
