It's just a placeholder. A lot of people put a date way in the future at the top of their journal, so they can have something that is "always on top".

In my case, I wanted that picture on my journal, and if I made it a regular entry, it would keep getting pushed back by other entries. this way, it's always the "most recent" entry.

Since you are such a lovely fan, I'll tell you that I'm getting ready to post Chapter 4. I need 20 minutes or so.
