Although I haven't read a Coupland novel since 1998, I do like his fiction. Why would Jpod be of interest to "Block G"? Aside from being a really interesting novel, by the way. *grins*

I only wish the limited edition of the book appeared here. That one came with a Cubes figure of one of the characters:

Oh, it's only because we call our blockmate hihlordjp (JP) as "JPod" because of his iPod. ^^; Forgive me for not being well-versed in books and authors @_@ After clicking the link I almost panicked because I thought spyware attacked x__X;; It sounds really interesting. Thanks for the links sir! ^_^

I just got my ampao from Mom this morning and I might get more later in the week nyahahaha XD But I could only buy one book because I have to go Christmas shopping... >_< I'll ask my dad to buy Lisey's Story, so I'm thinking of buying either Cell or maybe JPod. Which of the two would you recommend? :D

Oh and I just finished The Dead Letters last night. It's really interesting. I never expected it to end that way. ^^

It's certainly a strange Web site, isn't it? I nearly panicked myself when I saw it, but more out of confusion as to how to navigate through it.

Since you liked The Dead Letters, I recommend picking up Piccirilli's A Choir of Ill Children. That and a paperback of Cell won't cost you too much--less than 600, I imagine.

Copies of JPod are rather costly, and while I do think it's good, I haven't read it and can't quite recommend it. If you want to get into Coupland, you can start with Generation X, Life After God, or microserfs.

Sir! Instead of Lisey's Story, Dad brought home Desperation and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King, as well as Dean Koontz's Fear Nothing and Dragon Tears. Talk about excess. I only asked for one book... But I'm not complaining! Heheh! Have you read any of those books yet? :D
