Solution options? Profiling (properly done) may be better than potentially/actually dangerous tech.

This is what Bill Maher has been saying for a while. Profiling doesn't mean pulling aside anyone in a hijab, or with a funny accent. It can be done smartly, and can be better than random.

I get angry when I'm going through airport security and some old lady with children gets randomly pulled aside for an "enhanced" screening, while a shady looking guy like me just gets to go right through. I don't think I exactly fit a terrorist profile, but I certainly do more than grandma with the grandkids.
