I'd be lying if I said this procedures did not make me cringe. I've been keeping up with your posts on this. Luckily, Long Beach airport does not have the body scanners, but I do have a few flights that are scheduled for 2011 that do require flying. (Um...yeah....can't take a bullet train from LA to Kyoto...)
The fact that the scanners are not FDA approve worries me.
The old procedures were fine and effective. I'm not too fond of this at all.
