You fail to take Daylight Savings Time into account. So the earthquake and rapture will happen at 6:00 PM PST, which is 7:00 PM DST (which was seven minutes ago...).

Balls or selective delusion... and it's sickening how many people fall for this kind of crap. The house idiot doesn't own ANY books that aren't religious in nature, and at LEAST 2/3 of them are about armageddon, the rapture, the "end times", and fear-mongering millenialist shit.

I was listening to the radio yesterday on the way to work and there were some interviews with some of the folks that believed that the world was ending. They mostly sounded like people for whom this was their only hope of getting out of a life that was just too hard for them to deal with anymore. They sounded tired. I felt bad for them, but wanted to shake them and tell them to keep on trying and working because just waiting for God to take you to heaven wasn't a viable solution to their troubles.
