There are a lot of stories about the crap that goes on in this club. The drama, the rumors, the unsightly toe jam. I've gotten to see some of that in my time. As some in the club know I was involved in certain events last night. What they are doesn't matter for the purpose of this post. I follow this up by reminding you that no matter what you have supporters -always.
Everywhere we go in large groups there is drama and what not. I have no idea what it is in this event or anything, but drama happens. It is the nature of things. And you will have the support you need- when you need it.

I remember a time back in the day...

Oh were there times back in the day. =) We all carry the scars from it. They aren't blemishes but badges, things we wear on our psyche that give us good reminders. We just have to make sure we remember the good and take it in with more readiness than the bad.

Sadly, chicks don't see these scars so they don't dig em. shucks =)

Some chicks can sense psychic scars and dig them. However, those chicks are generally scary.

I only heard the result without any information. I am sorry for any hurt that you experience from the situation. It is so difficult to separate our emotions from our characters, because when something happens that is hurtful, for the most part it isn't (OOCly) personal. It feels terribly personal and as if we've been assaulted.

I have had my own trouble distancing IC vendettas against my character from my person. I think you are wonderful. I am glad that you were able to see more than just a crappy situation. It can be hard to hold on to the good, but it's there to be grabbed if you want to.

I've only heard that "something happened in the NW" so far. Didn't know you were involved, and still don't know what happened (although I'm told it'll likely cross my desk.)

Regardless, I want to say this was an awesome post, and I really appreciate and respect your noticing it and your attitude on the whole thing.
