So it's Christmas and I decided to be rude today. And to my own mother, who is thousands of miles away and was probably feeling rotten already to begin with :( Didn't mean to, of course. Ugh, I know exactly the feeling. 'Tis the season to alienate your loved ones. My mother has come to visit me from two countries over and I still haven't been able to keep a civil tongue in my head the whole time. Don't worry about it, it'll blow over.

Granted, it's not the best thing to happen to anyone but I'm glad how common this is!! I don't even understand why I feel so guilty about this particular one. I hope you're right and it'll just blow over like the rest of the other stuff. Thank you!

Best part is, I don't really know how to apologize

come to think of it, i don't apologize to my mom (or dad)... it just comes to a point that we just talk all of a sudden (you know me, i give cold/silent treatment to those who offend me) ;p

Well maybe because they're our parents we don't really have to apologize? You're right, I hope reconciliation is one of those things that just happen.
