And you have to just remember to make each one friends-only, right? there's no convenient place in the "manage info" or anywhere that you can set it to make it automatically friends-only?

A lot of people seem to go to the friends only route. I don't because I don't have any reason to, but it can be a good idea. As long as I remain on your friends list I say go for it.
