Setback, m'dear. Not failure. It's just as difficult to start healthy new habits as it is to break old ones. <3

Or set your computer to ping you up a reminder to get yourself out of your chair and go for a walk? Maybe to coincide with nice computer housekeeping tasks like defragging/virus scanning...

5) Scream for Sorbet! Or Gelato Indulge in chocolate sorbet or gelato instead of ice cream or frozen yogurt. Alternately, make some yourself. Again use your culinary interests to your advantage!

6) Cut the cheese.

With pizza - try asking for 'half the cheese' or even cheese-less. instead try sprinking with parmesan or cheese that you youself grated for better control over portion.

Alternately, select a different cheese where available - Asiago or feta for instance, or even a pesto sauce, which usually contains parmesan.

7) Climb Up!
Taking the stairs for a total of two minutes a day, five days a week will give you the same calorie-burning results as a 20 minute walk. Studies show if you take the stairs just 2 flights every day for at least a 6-week period, you should show improved vitality!

8) Start with a SoupOrder a clear soup instead of a salad and you can save twice the calories. Plus you'll feel fuller and eat less ( ... )
