Creepy

So...creepy story to tell to you today. My mom and I were checking out apartments for me to move to; one of the listings, found on my school's off-campus living website, looked pretty sweet: student room, $450/m, furnished, in a luxury condo, all amenities included, pool, exercise room, high security, and best of all, pets allowed. Female preferred ( Read more... )

Luckily we were too shocked/too busy laughing our asses off to realize how creepy it was until after we'd left. *shudders* My mom kept saying how grateful she was that I hadn't gone to see the apartment alone.

Ew! What a creep! Reminds me of the time when this drunk guy asked if he could sit next me and my friends and said "I'm not weird or anything." It was in a field. We were on our own. He had a bottle of cider in his hand. His other friend was coming up to us.

I think we did the sensible thing. We screamed and ran for our lives. Scariest moment of my life, ahaha.

But seriously! That's just... creepy. On the other hand, it could have been worse, he could have replied with "In the room with you.". Ewww. I'm creeped out now.

Lol, oh that would've been much worse...ewwww indeed.

It's never a good sign when a drunk stranger tells you, "I'm not weird." It's like when a fanfic says, "NOT a Mary-Sue fic!"; it's pretty much a guaruntee that it will be a Mary-Sue fic. I'm thinking you chose well in running away, lol.

My friend and I were on a bus once and this 40-year-old guy kept talking to us about weird random topics, like we were his best friends or something; I think he had a mental condition, so it wasn't so much scary as weird and awkward, especially when he gave us his phone number as we got off the bus. Like, yeah, we'll call you. I actually felt kinda bad for him, tbh, but not enough to call him.

I can't believe you kept so calm! I would have ran out screaming!

It really isn't! I'm glad I did! I was shook up all day, I kept looking over my shoulder, 'cos he and his friend spotted us again, and they pointed at us! So we ran and screamed. Again.

Aww, that's so cute and sad and scary! That must've been soooo awkward! I think you should call him ;) LOL

If my mom hadn't been there with me, I would've been hastily making my retreat a heck of a lot sooner, I can tell you that. But if he'd tried anything, my mom would've dropped his ass easily, no prob, so it wasn't as scary as it could've been. Just creepy, veerrrrryyyy creepy.

I called the UCH website and the guy I spoke to agreed that the situation sounded weird; he actually laughed when I told him the part about him sleeping on the couch. I hope no other unsuspecting girls show up trying to find a place to live before they can get his listing taken down.

he and his friend spotted us again, and they pointed at us!Yeah, that's really creepy, you would've thought the screaming and running away the first time would've given him the hint. At least you had your friend with you, it's really bad when stuff like that happens and it's just you, even if there are other, normal people around, because you're still on your own. I was waiting for the subway one time and this crazy guy started yelling at me and pushing me because I was staring ( ... )
