If you had the choice between taking a cruise with stops in

A) Venice, Athens, Kusadasi (Turkey), Iraklion (Crete), and Corfu (Greece)

OR

B) Barcelona, Sicily, Naples, Rome, Villefranche (France)and Marseille

which would you rather go on?

I think I'd rather take the B cruise, but it's only a small preference. They both sound lovely! Are you planning the next Angels summit? :)

No, unfortunately I wasn't planning the next Angels summit, but, now that I think about it, wouldn't that be awesome!!! Drinking margaritas on deck, seeing all the wonderful sights and visiting a new yarn store in every port city. Sounds like a great summit to me!!! :)

Actually, Mac and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary next November (2006) and we thought it would be nice to take a big vacation together. He wanted to take a cruise and I wanted to go to Europe or somewhere overseas. This seemed like the perfect combination of the two.

I think that I'd choose option B.

It is a tough choice. Sometimes I wish I could combine cities from each option, but I'm leaning towards B as well, even if only by a tiny bit. :)

Errrm ... I think B. It's a difficult choice with Venice being in A, but I really don't like it in summer so much as it gets really crowded. And Barcelona and Rome are just brilliant any time of the year. I'm feeling quite jealous now :)

On rereading your reply to Chris I see you say you are thinking about going in November. In which case I could be really tempted by the whole Venice / Athens thing. Decisions, decisions ....

Well, we might go in September or October, but November seems to offer the best deals.

The Venice/Athens part is what makes the decision so hard. I want to visit all the cities and can't decide where I'd like to go more. Luckily there seems to be plenty of time to decide! :)
