I wonder if there will ever be another Civillisation game worth playing after #2... I didn't much like #3... then again, #2 was also evil, what with it stealing my life for eight hours at a time X_X

I think 2 was really the acme of civilisation games. All the ones since then have suffered in comparison. 3 or 3.5, whichever one had the national borders/influence thing, was cool; that was a nice idea which handily settled once and for all the old "your troops are in my territory WHY CAN'T I TELL YOU TO FUCK OFF" problem.

But I just didn't enjoy it as much.

The "culture" thing was nifty... but yeah, for some reason, it just wasn't as fun.
