I agree with all your gushery.
This series makes me want to be a public servant or a politician which is a pretty big achievement for a TV series.

It's good to have SMART TV that makes us think... please excuse me while I go sob over the quite probable demise of Aarons new show Studio 60 *WAIL*.... If you like the chemistry between the brief interaction of Josh and Joey Quincy on WW you will LOVE S60!

Coming soon to a geekfest near you.... "SorCon" :D

Many many moons ago series one of West Wing was pressed into my palms with the highest of reccomendations from my friend. I was watching the first episode, thinking the dialogue was clever but still entrenched in the "meh" school of thought. I thought the series could improve maybe if I watched a few more episodes.

Then Martin Sheen hobbled onto the screen with his bandaged foot and walking stick and I'll be damned if he did not sell me on the entire series there and then. Its an awesome show and they finished it at the right time. I only wish I could watch all of it.

I loved the episode where the Sesame Street characters came to the White House that time. There was one scene in that I will always remember whenever anyone mentions The West Wing.

Thats soo awesome that someone else likes the show :)
I've only watched up until the blonde girl starts working there and got taunted and wasn't taken seriously to start with.. maybe season 2 or something? Either way it was really good even though my first thoughts were that they spoke soo fast but i got over that :D.

Um, the republican lawyer chick? Ainsley Hayes?

Yeah, the rapid-fire speech took about half a series for me to get the hang of.
