I'm sure everyone who believes that Moffat is the WORST THING EVER to happen to Doctor Who will be picking things apart soon enough, but I'm going the route of ignoring them (aside from wondering why they're still watching the series if they've come to hate it so very much. That's very succinct, and very like my take. The tight dialog between Coleman and Smith has always been great; and the story arc has been strong (excepting a couple of ship-in-a-bottle stories in which all the toys had to be put back in the box at the end of the episode). I'm interested to see how the writing for the next Doctor goes.

EVERYTHING YOU SAY HERE, yes. It was brilliant and slow and quiet and not a flashy, energetic, last-minute potting a planet into the sun sort of thing.

And I may be sniffly just thinking about the fact that Matt is never going to be the Doctor again.
