Noel Gallagher quit Oasis. Again.

Oasis are one of my favorite bands. I'm shocked to see them go like this...even though Noel's done this before. Fuck.

Now I'm blasting The Masterplan and remembering the great band they once were.

Wow, I LOVED Oasis back in high school and they were probably my favorite band until "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova" got so overplayed I couldn't stand them anymore. That time has passed now though and I can once again listen to AND enjoy those songs. I haven't really heard much of their stuff since What's The Story Morning Glory? but I do like the little of it I have heard. I want to get back into them, but it's hard with all their drama. Haha "Live Forever" will definitely go down as one of my favorite songs of all time though and I still have this kickass felt blacklight poster of their old logo from the mid 90's.

I used to like "Wonderwall" but I hate how overplayed it is and how you can't get past the first few bars without some drunken sorority girls singing along, out of key, to it. "Champagne Supernova" is a gorgeous song though.

No argument there; it really is a gorgeous song, but it became a victim of the radio and MTV and I just didn't want to hear it anymore for a while.

Yeah...unfortunately, that happens to a lot of songs nowadays.
