Mmmm, mmmmm, it's ok

Officially - I'm still the raining champion on the KC minigolf circuit. There have been a few matches since my last update - but one resulted in a tie and the other was with the fam on vacation and my niece whipped both my and my mom's butts though she does have a scooting technique that is not quite kosher so that game doesn't count. Plus I was ( Read more... )

I've been using the mouse from time to time - just not the keyboard. Thanks for missing me. :)

The victory (and tie) were in competition with my friend Kelly - who has a journal but truly never, ever updates it so I won't even mention it. She won *a few* more games than I did - so I have to lord while the lordin''s good.

She's alive! So very glad to see it. :) Hope you're feeling better...

Wow, a tattoo on your forearm! Did that hurt at all? Seems like it'd be a sensitive place.

You're turning into a knitting machine! That is such a neat ability to have.

Thanks - I am feeling mostly better - just a few germs still to kick.

It did hurt - but it wasn't tooo bad. Mine is mostly outline work, which is more painful than what they use to color large areas - but it's small so I wasn't in the chair too long. This is the (part of) the website of the chic that did mine. I LOOOOOOVE the Picasso sketch tat at the bottom of the cover up page and am thinking about doing that or something very like it in the future. http://www.eurekaspringstattoos.com/coverupsbycarrie.html

I'm definitely still working on knitting skills - but it makes me feel productive. And there are just so many patterns out there (non-discloth even) that result in major treats.

Oooh, I like that Picasso too!!

I almost want to get another tattoo.. but I don't want to get one jsut for the heck of getting one. If I'm going to get something permanently etched onto my body, I want it to mean something.

I really like your felted purse that you posted one time. You could sell those at a fair or something!

By the way, I haven't seen you in forever. We should hang out sometime or something - I still have your copy of "Party Girl"!

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I haven't been able to get that tat out of my mind - so I wouldn't be surprized if I ended up with it somewhere eventually. :)

Thanks! I need to post more pics of the things I've knitted since then. I don't know if I could actually make enough money to get invovled in sales. I am going to make a bunch of stuff for the Buddhist center gift shop though.

I'd be up for a cup of Joe/tea or dinner sometime. A Wed night might be a good fit since I'm near your area when I do my farm pick up. Let me know if something like that would work.
