Friends cut

Jan 24, 2007 14:41

Just FYI - I'm going to cut down my friends page. I don't do a bunch of filters to discreetly not read people journals that I'm out of touch with. My journal is pretty public - so it's not about keeping people out. If you are a friend (or community - ha!) I've cut and you feel hurt - my apologies ( Read more... )

Thanks for keeping me on. We still must plan a time to meet in person. :)

Absolutely.

I've been so absent - I'm surprized there's anyone left to read this. :)

I always think about you. I have a stack of books with your shop in mind. It would make a great outing for me and my niece. Saturday I'm booked (no pun intended). Are you open on Sunday?

We aren't open Sundays.. :( But can you hold off a couple of weeks? I'm headed off to Mexico for a couple of weeks. I'll be back Feb. 11. I'd hate to miss you when you come out.

Hugs.

haha -- i know exactly what you mean. except for the houseblog, i really don't post anymore, though i stay pretty updated on my friends' posts. i'd like to see you more active on here (selfish me! haha), but i'd like better to know you better in real life. so when's the next girls' night? that was so fun last time...

Yeah - I try to check in to read every once in a while - but I've been terrible for posting. And my friends page was so full that I often missed long blocks of posts - so I thought a cut might help.

Actually - it's not a girl's night - but my neice and I are co-hosting an Uno party on Saturday night (no big whoop just a few friends and a potluck) - I'll send you the evite if you're interested.

Otherwise - a girl's night is defintely needed soon. I'll see if I can come up with some suggestions.

I'm part of the farm core this year. The first meeting was awesome. Head's up - they know some designer that has come up with these uber cool share bags made from reclaimed tablecloths, curtains, etc. The are way drool worthy. I think we're going to sell them for like $20 each. She's making them for close to cost (like $10), so the extra will go into a scholarship fund to help people at the lower end of the pay scale to have subsidized farm shares. Isn't that great!

an uno party sounds totally fun! i've been wanting to do a game night forEVER -- been thinking of buying one cool game with each paycheck so that we'll have lots to choose from if we ever get around to hosting one ourselves, in fact. :)

we should do something frilly with our girls' night -- like champagne, mani's/pedi's, and watching stupid girly movies or something. haha

that's such a good idea -- i'll get two at least! i've been meaning to make some good shopping bags, so this'll be a good excuse to buy some. chris and i are only doing a half-share this year; i think we learned our (expensive and entirely-too-wasteful) lesson about our eyes being bigger than our stomachs/schedules. yeesh!

I have quite the game stockpile - but there are a few I want to add. With the addition of my niece and sis - the selection has really expanded. Plus I got a lot of our childhood boardgames from my Grandma recently. You can never have too many games ( ... )
