Some surprises there, actually.  How excited am I about Alan Arkin and Abigail Breslin?! And of course the Best Picture nod for Little Miss Sunshine.  I don't think they'll win but I'm very happy to see them in there.  Fantastic movie, if you ask me (and you didn't, but I don't care.)

Not 100% sure what I have but I think it's food poisoning.  Had some chowder yesterday and didn't feel right afterwards...barely made the train ride without throwing up all over the other passengers.  Then came home and got sick and sicker.  Slept about 20 minutes last night and still feel like death ( Read more... )

This weekend was amazing.  I'll likely have more to say about it later, but now I'm so tired and so hungover that I can only say wow. Fabulous.  And I came home to a truly wonderful reception.

Meanwhile, I'm coming to a lot of realizations today.

I'm sitting here, eating a large amount of amazingly good Chinese food, bought for me by my employer.

I have tomorrow off, which is fantaaaastic.  I'm going with the parentals to pick out a Christmas tree tomorrow afternoon.  I haven't been around to pick up the tree in years, so I'm pretty excited.
