That Place Was Something Else

I haven't been there in a while, but the last time I went, I was doing Environmental Science, and we had to record observations at different points of the day. After sitting by the lake along at night and just watching and writing, I came back not with observations, but with poetry.

I'm not a poet by any means and I'm sure I've lost everything I've written that day, but I think it's amazing that Owassippe is the only time I ever wrote poetry and I didn't even realize it.

Funny...I'm going to miss it. It's really a whole different world over there.
