...hn. I've received word from Bellicus that we are simply to take the ambassador to the capital immediately, with no other stops. The prince's kidnappers are likely long gone, so there's nothing we can do, according to them. I beg to differ, but orders are orders, no matter how incompetently delivered they are ( Read more... )

Bring it up with Parliament. I didn't intend to, but I have no choice.

In any case, with the distraction by the sky sharks, the kidnappers are probably long gone, and we have no leads. It's doubtful that they'll kill him; he'll probably be held for ransom, and with the letter they'll give a location.

Even if that is the case... it sounds as though Parliament is abandoning him.

Would it be more prudent to waste resources searching aimlessly? I doubt that there will be no attempt made to find him, but the fact remains that we have nowhere to even start. For all we know, they could be taking him to Vohemar.

I don't want to, considering this is absolutely ridiculous, but it would be a waste of time to keep searching before we have actual information as to where he's been taken.

That don't matter! You keep pushing forward, no matter what! Forget reason! It might look impossible to find him, but you gotta kick the impossible to the curb!

Of course you didn't. Afterall, the prince would still be in your possession. What ever happened to success in missions or simple tasks for that matter? Looks like the years have taken their toll on you.

So we should have left ourselves open to an attack by pirates? The Fiertia was supposed to be watching the ship in case other enemy ships appeared rather than jumping in and interfering with our attempt to keep the pirates from doing the same bloody thing.

Of course, you wouldn't be able to figure that out, considering how long you've spent rotting in prison.
